VMRO-DPMNE doesn’t Expect Fair Campaign from SDSM and DUI

On Thursday, VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski said he didn’t expect SDSM and DUI to have a fair campaign. “Dark campaigns are a trait of this government,” he stated.

However, Mickoski added that his party wouldn’t have such a campaign because citizens knew that the current ruling structure was the worst government in the country’s history.

“VMRO-DPMNE will have a positive campaign by presenting projects and solutions to problems facing citizens,” he stressed.

The same day, SDSM leader Dimitar Kovacevski said regarding VMRO-DPMNE’s programme that the opposition had a legitimate right to propose changes to the Constitution concerning reorganisation of the state.

However, he added that the priority of the coalition led by his party was the constitutional changes to include Bulgarians, as a condition to resume the EU path.

In the ethnic Albanian bloc, Ziadin Sela’s wing within Alliance for Albanians decided to join the DUI-led coalition. Thursday saw the Union of Roma, too, join the Ali Ahmeti-led coalition.
