VMRO-DPMNE Milososki Points to Contradictory Article in Academy Law

“Since they are in a rush to make the relatives and associates of DUI’s Ramiz Merko judges, the Academy for Judges and Prosecutors will today hold a session to set the dates for the qualification test and practical exam,” VMRO-DPMNE MP Antonio Milososki said on social media on Monday morning.

In his view, the Law on the Academy now has a contradictory article (Article 45), whose paragraphs 9 and 13 prescribe 105 points from the practical test, whereas paragraph 14 of that same Article imperatively says that a maximum of 100 points can be scored.

According to the VMRO-DPMNE MP, if the Managing Board and the Admission Commission of the Academy don’t react in a timely fashion to the contradiction, they, too, will be accomplices in the legal uncertainty and confusion arising from Article 45.

That’s why, the MP believes, what’s best is for the exams process to be put on hold until the elections end because they are part of an employment procedure and for the Academy’s management to urgently notify “the incompetent” Justice Minister, Lloga, and the Deputy Minister, that an amendment correction to the Article is needed without delay.

In response, Lloga said Milososki and the other MPs were part of the chain of filters and should have acted in a timely fashion.
