In response to DUI leader Ali Ahmeti’s press-conference on Wednesday, VMRO-DPMNE said the same day that there was neither outvoting nor chauvinism.
“Nor is it important that Ahmeti felt offended. What matters is that the will of the majority is for DUI to become an opposition party and face liability.
If DUI becoming an opposition party constitutes a violation of the Ohrid Framework Agreement, then Ali Ahmeti himself violated it when he decided to leave VMRO-DPMNE out of the government and didn’t respect the result of the 2016 elections, which was won by VMRO-DPMNE.
That only means that respecting the Ohrid Framework Agreement is not at all related to the fact whether DUI is in power or an opposition party,” Hristijan Mickoski’s party added.
