VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski announced that the executive committee of the party will discuss on 11 January the potential nominees for the positions of ministers and deputy ministers in the caretaker government that is expected to start functioning on 28 January.
“We continue to make necessary analyses when it comes to the creation and establishment of the caretaker government, and the electoral processes after that. One thing I can tell you for certain is that VMRO-DPMNE will not support the nomination of Talat Xhafer as Caretaker PM in the caretaker government. Our MPs will abstain from voting when this matter will be processed in Parliament,” Mickoski said.
So far, it has only been revealed that VMRO-DPMEN will nominate Nake Culev as caretaker Interior Minister. Culev already served this function in the last caretaker government before the election in 2020.
