VMRO-DPMNE’s Kovacki Urges Spasovski to Resign over Mall Shooting

At a press-conference about the East Gate Mall shooting on Tuesday, VMRO-DPMNE MP Dragan Kovacki urged Interior Minister Oliver Spasovski to resign.

“The Ministry headed by Spasovski is so incompetent that it cannot solve a case that happened in the centre of the capital, where a big number of chances for identifying and locating exists. The Ministry headed by Spasovski is experiencing a complete fiasco. It’s even more astonishing that police, headed by Spasovski, didn’t prevent the shooting even though it had several days prior been announced on social media that one of the persons that was wounded would be killed,” he stated.

The Interior Ministry has continued to work on the case and, as Minister Oliver Spasovski said, an HQ has been formed over the shooting. The condition of Rade Trajkovski aka Stekli and his friend is relatively stable, but it is being closely monitored.

Stekli’s friend will undergo another surgery. His condition is life-threatening.
