In an interview with Sitel, VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski says he’s surprised why nobody is asking him about elections and OSCE observers aren’t being invited.
“We’re less than half a year away from an election process,” he points out. He calls for a leaders’ meeting for a discussion on parliamentary and presidential elections, but also on essential topics that lie ahead for the country Regarding the Pardon Draft-Law, Mickoski reiterates that his party will block it in Parliament.
When it comes to PM Dimitar Kovacevski’s comments about amendments, he asks how the government can file amendments considering it was preparing the law. With regards to the constitutional changes and EU path, he describes the government’s claims that North Macedonia is vetoing itself as stupidity.
“The one that accepted this deal without consulting the main political option in the country and the people has vetoed themselves. Because they cannot deliver that now,” he points out.
