VMRO-DPMNE has fiercely criticized ex-President Stevo Pendarovski over comments made by him in the interview with Sitel.
“That Pendarovski places insults against the US and its newly-elected President may be considered as an implicit stand of SDSM, but also freedom of speech. However, the government of any democratic country, in this case, the US, is a matter of choice of American citizens, while Pendarovski, regardless of being close with the team of Soros, doesn’t have the right to challenge the democratic legitimacy of the US President and Government”, MP Antonijo Milososki said.
Skopje and Washington signed the strategic partnership document in 2008, the parliamentarian added, while that mutually beneficial relationship should be maintained and deepened regardless of the change of governments or Presidents in both countries.
“Therefore, let Pendarovski, if he cannot or doesn’t want to help Macedonia at an international level, at least not hinder it”, the former Foreign Minister stressed.
Transport Minister and Deputy PM Aleksandar Nikoloski said Pendarovski had verbally attacked the President of “Macedonia’s number 1 strategic partner”.
“The man who would massively abuse the Intelligence Agency with an order for them to fabricate reports on us, from VMRO-DPMNE, being ‘pro-Russia’, ‘anti-West’, and ‘anti-America’, I’ve heard they wrote about me that I am a representative of ‘Iranian-Turkish-Hungarian influence’, and would send bodyguards to beg the strategic partners to blacklist half of VMRO-DPMNE’s list carriers in order for them to save themselves from defeat is now the most anti-West and most anti-American one”, he underlined.
