Yllka Kaba Bekteshi, wife of DUI’s Kresnhik Bekteshi, the ex-Economy Minister Kreshnik who’s been issued a 30-day detention measure in the Kocani fire case, has said that her husband’s arrest is just an attempt to divert attention from those truly responsible for the nightclub tragedy.
“Hold your head high, Kreshnik”, she pointed out in a social media post on Friday.
Valbona Osmani, the wife of Bujar Osmani, the ex-Foreign Minister who’s part of DUI, too, probably to express support for the Bekteshis, took to social media as well.
“We are silent because we expect institutions to do their job”, she said in the post, shared by DUI’s office in Kicevo.
Neither Valbona nor DUI’s Kicevo office didn’t specify who they were referring to when they talked about “those that are silent and have patience” and who those that “should act right and swiftly because even patience has a limit” were.
