Defence Minister Sekerinska partakes in Atlantic Council meeting in Brussels

Macedonia has walked a long road and made a big leap in terms of its integration processes, which underlines its credibility is a full-fledged NATO member in the near future, Defence Minister Radmila Sekerinska told NATO counterparts at Friday’s meeting of the North Atlantic Council in Brussels, led by the Alliance’s Sec Gen, Jens Stoltenberg. “We hope for NATO membership, which will be an acknowledgement of our efforts and strengthen security in the region,” she stated. Within the frameworks of her stay in Brussels, she held several meetings, including with Stoltenberg, United States Defence Secretary James Mattis and Dutch counterpart Ank Bijleveld.
