Kotzias: Greece leads the game with Name Issue with Skopje

The Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias stated that Greece is the more victorious side in the Prespa Agreement, because the country on the north of Greece will never again be called Macedonia, but Republic of North Macedonia. This statement of Kotzias follows the series of reactions in Greece after the US president Donald Trump referred the country as “Macedonia” in his greetings on Macedonia’s Independence Day. “Greece leads the entire game with the name issue, and even if Skopje ratifies the agreement, the final decision will be ours to make,” Kotzias stated.
