Thaci: Vote “Yes” in Referendum, that would be good for entire Region

The President of Kosovo Hashim Thaci paid on Wednesday a one-day official visit to Macedonia. The Kosovo President met the Macedonian Prime Minister Zoran Zaev, with whom he spoke about the relations between the two countries, as well as the upcoming referendum on the Prespa Agreement. “All the citizens should vote in the referendum, and support the “Yes” option, i.e. the membership of Macedonia in NATO and EU by accepting the Prespa Agreement. This will bring stability not only in Macedonia, but the entire West Balkan region,” Thaci said. Asked why he will not meet with President Gjorge Ivanov, Thaci told reporters that he will not take sides, and the policies should not be guided by political schemes, but by national interests of both countries and the citizens.
