In the capacity of guest at TV Telma show Top Tema, PM Zoran Zaev said four things will change in the constitution through adoption of a single amendment in agreement with the Prespa deal. The first change, he said, is adding the geographic modifier; the second is in the Preamble by strengthening the constitutive elements of the statehood through ASNOM, which are decisions for self-determination, independence as well as visions for freedom and democracy. “In Article 3 it will be confirmed there are no aspirations beyond the territories of Macedonia, i.e. the non-violability of borders is affirmed as is in the constitution of all EU members as well as Article 49 referring to the diaspora,” said Zaev. He emphasised the care for the diaspora remains but according to EU standards.
