Mickoski: Two Options for Emerging from Crisis

VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski met on Saturday with representatives of political parties from the Coalition for Better Macedonia. At Sunday’s press conference Mickoski said the options are early elections with formation of Przino-style government and public prosecutor at the proposal of the opposition or rejecting the agreement and elections after which national prosecutor is to be elected via consensus of all parties. “Macedonia is entering a new political crisis. The decision on the table is disastrous and unacceptable both to VMRO-DPMNE and majority of citizens,” says Mickoski. He said there was need for creation of atmosphere of fair conditions and selection of prosecutor at the proposal of the opposition. “The second option is Zoran Zaev to renounce the agreement and elections to be held immediately so the citizens can decide,” said Mickoski.
