PM Zaev calls for Inclusive Process to Continue

At a press-conference on Friday, PM Zoran Zaev said the demands by BESA and Alliance for Albanians regarding constitutional changes caused changes that weren’t of identity and Ohrid Framework Agreement nature. However, he added MPs had a legitimate right to demand that. The PM called for the inclusive process to continue. Zaev hopes that the spring of 2019 will see the protocol with NATO end and that Macedonia will become a full-fledged member of the Alliance towards the end of that year or at the start of 2020. Regarding the reconciliation issue, he called for the procedure to be transparent, under the public’s watchful eye, in order for there to be full reconciliation so that “we have a better Macedonia worthy of a dignified life.”
