On Thursday, the EU’s Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, Johannes Hahn, held a meeting in Helsinki with a delegation of VMRO-DPMNE’s reformist wing, consisting of Petar Bogojeski, MP EMilija Aleksandrova and former Health Minister Nikola Todorov, who had recently been excluded from the party, but are participating in the EPP Congress in Finland’s capital upon an invitation from EPP President Joseph Daul. Describing the meeting as great, Hahn said in a tweet that he applauded their courage and bravery in voting for the Prespa Agreement. “All threats against them must stop! All parties should work for the EU agenda which the vast majority of citizens want,” the Commissioner added in the tweet. Todorov, Aleksandrova and Bogojeski met with Daul, too.
