The PM Zoran Zaev attended on Wednesday an informal meeting of the West Balkan leaders in Brussels, initiated by the High Representative for Security and Foreign Policy of the EU Federica Mogherini, and attended by the EU’s Enlargement Commissioner Johannes Hahn. Before the informal lunch with all West Balkan leaders, Zaev had a bilateral meeting with Mogherini, in which he informed hr about the adoption of the Law on Amnesty and the entire process of its implementation, as well as about the processes for implementation of the Prespa Agreement. Mogherini concluded that Macedonia has made the right steps to get back on the track towards EU and NATO membership. At the informal lunch, Zaev offered assistance for resolution of the issues between Serbia and Kosovo. “We believe that, thanks to our experience with the Prespa Agreement, we can provide assistance for resolving this and other problematic issues in the Balkans. Our countries have a mutual future, and we need to cooperate with each other in order to overcome our differences,” Zaev said.
