House arrest for Mijalkov, Janakieski, Bozinovski, Arsovska and Josifovic

Judge Vesna Dimiskova didn’t make a decision on Friday to replace the detention measure with house arrest for the former Director of the Security and Counter-Intelligence Administration (UBK), Saso Mijalkov, because the Special Prosecutor’s Office’s (SPO) proposal to annul the measure was incomplete and she returned to the SPO to be amended. Once an appropriate proposal is filed, a decision will be made, it was reported that day. Also on Friday, a decision was made ending the detention measure for Zorica Arsovska and Nenad Josifovic, suspects in the Empire case, and former Government officials Mile Janakieski and Kiril Bozinovski, suspects in the Titanic case. On Saturday, the SPO filed the proposal and it was accepted.
