Kammenos: Greek Government deserves No-confidence for Prespa Agreement

The leader of the Greek Party “Independent Greeks” and former Defence Minister in the Greek Government Panos Kammenos announced that he and his party will do all in their legal limitations for the Parliament to vote no-confidence to the Greek PM Alexis Tsipras and his government. “The Greek government seeks the confidence of the MPs in order to adopt and implement the Prespa Agreement. I did my best to make Tsipras reconsider this agreement, and now, I am ready to do everything for the government to not get the confidence of the MPs. I also call upon the opposition leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis to stand firmly on the positions that Greece would never accept a resolution that allows our Northern neighbours to use the name “Macedonia”. If he does so, then I would provide him my support for no-confidence to this government, and further steps towards new parliamentary election in Greece,” Kammenos said.
