Mickoski: VMRO-DPMNE will not boycott Presidential Election

The leader of VMRO-DPMNE Hristijan Mickoski gave an interview for the talk-show “Otvoreno (Open)” on Alfa TV. Asked about the party positions on the upcoming presidential election, the leader of VMRO-DPMNE said that they will not boycott the election. “On the contrary, we will take part and we shall defeat SDSM on this election. We will win because the citizens no longer trust Zaev and SDSM, which now focus on picking a consensual candidate along with DUI, thus toying with the feeling of Albanian voters in order to purchase their votes. VMRO-DPMNE is straightforward with the citizens, and on the very next parliamentary election, we shall celebrate a massive victory over SDSM. In the past two years, during the rule of Zaev, we saw that the judiciary in Macedonia is deeply corrupted and under great pressure by the government. While the rule of law is ineffective, the judiciary is corrupted and all other sectors in Macedonia are failing the citizens, the government strongly focused on the Prespa Agreement, and in most utterly unpatriotic manner changed the constitutional name of Macedonia. The latest blow inflicted by them was the publication of the Law on Languages in Official Gazette. PM Zoran Zaev and PS Talat Xhaferi must realise that what they did is a criminal act and is punishable in accordance with Macedonian Constitution and laws,” Mickoski said.
