Government adopts Information on Implementation of Prespa Agreement

The Government of Macedonia adopted on its 117th session on Tuesday evening the information for implementation of the Prespa Agreement. The plan for the implementation of this agreement predicts a set of measures and activities to be conducted by the government and state institutions prescribed in the texts of the Amendments 33, 34, 35 and 36 to the Constitution of Macedonia, which are to entre in force 7 days after the ratification of the Protocol for accession of Macedonia in NATO by the Greek Parliament. The government is to form an inter-party group that will create a National action plan for implementation of the obligations from the Prespa Agreement, and among the first measures will be the replacement of sign boards at border-crossings, which from now on will state “Welcome to the Republic of North Macedonia”.
