Tsipras: Prespa Agreement secures Peace, Solidarity, Friendship

The Greek PM Alexis Tsipras released a statement after receiving the not for his and Macedonian PM Zoran Zaev’s official nomination for this year’s Nobel Peace prize by previous laureate of the prize Wided Bouchamaoui. “The Prespa Agreement that was recently adopted by both the Parliaments in Skopje and in Athens contributes to the maintaining of the peace, coexistence, solidarity and cooperation between both our countries and the entire Balkan region. I sent a message to my colleague, the PM of North Macedonia Zoran Zaev, that for me, and I believe for him as well, the greatest prize and award is the fact that we did something that keeps the peace and friendly relations between both our countries and their citizens,” Tsipras stated.
