The driver of the bus involved in the Laskarci bus crash, together with his family, left the home in Gostivar after the traffic accident. The gathered letters and bills are hanging at the entrance door. Neighbours describe him as a professional who was serious in his job. The Public Prosecutor’s Office said it would summon him, too, to testify, Sitel TV reported on Tuesday. According to Kanal 5 TV, however, the driver already gave a statement that day. The expertise of the bus is underway, as is the hearing procedure for passengers. Eyewitnesses claim that the driver made a sudden left turn and hit the flank at a very high speed. They didn’t notice brakes were being used. Those injured in the crash will receive compensation, as will victims’ families.
