Pappas: Prespa Agreement implementation to be Within Envisaged deadlines

“The Prespa Agreement is rather in-depth. Its implementation will take place within the envisaged deadlines” Minister of Digital Policy, Telecommunications and Information, Nikos Pappas, said on Tuesday, answering a journalist’s question as to why citizens of Greece’s northern neighbour were still requested forms, in addition to stamps in passports. He considers that that such issues will be resolved in accordance with the spirit of the name deal, “which is already used actively”. Commenting on the stand of Apostolos Tzitzikostas, Governor of the Greek Region of Central Macedonia, who had said that as long as he headed the Greek Region, the signs using the word “Skopje” for the northern neighbour wouldn’t be replaced, the Greek Minister stated that there was no doubt his country would absolutely implement the deal.
