Name deal not Enough for progress in Euro-integration, says Loiseau

The Prespa Agreement has opened the NATO door, but that is not enough for progress in the Euro-integration process, according to French Minister for European Affairs Nathalie Loiseau. As she said at Tuesday’s press-conference with the Deputy PM for European Affairs, Bujar Osmani, in order to start EU negotiations, Macedonia will have to meet the criteria. Osmani is optimistic about Macedonia’s chances of starting negotiations because the Government is committed to the reform process. Still, Loiseau is reserved as regards her optimism because, as she said, decisions on enlargement are made consensually.
