Jess Baily’s ambassadorial Term ends

On Friday, Jess Baily’s term as US Ambassador to Macedonia officially ended. He left Skopje on Friday. In a tweet, he thanked the country for its hospitality, friendship and kindness. The US Embassy, on its official Facebook page, wrote: “This morning, Ambassador Baily officially ended his assignment to North Macedonia. From everyone at the Embassy, we thank him for his service and leadership and wish him success in his future endeavours.” Kate Marie Byrnes, Deputy Chief of Mission of the US Embassy in Athens, has been nominated by President DOnald Trump, to be Baily’s successor.
