Working groups’ Meetings start

The meetings between the working groups for approximation of the laws needed for a date to start EU negotiations started on Monday. At the Justice Ministry, VMRO-DPMNE’s working group met with Minister Renata Deskoska and DUI representatives. The Public Prosecutor’s Office (PPO) Draft Law was on the agenda. Deskoska isn’t sure whether the Draft Laws will be adopted before the presidential elections. According to the Ministry, all of that depends on the opposition’s approach. The opposition demands for it to nominate the Public Prosecutor and for cases it suspects are politically staged to be opened. Regarding the Special Prosecutor’s Office, VMRO-DPMNE considers that it should be part of the PPO, but without Katica Janeva and some members of her team.
