Dimitrov, Katrougalos: Prespa Agreement takes Macedonia to NATO

The Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikola Dimitrov and his Greek counterpart Georgios Katrougalos stated in a mutual interview during their say in Washington that the Accession of Macedonia in NATO as its 30th full-fledged members will be the top event to mark the alliance’s 70th anniversary. “We are yet to become a NATO member formally, but I am more than certain that our membership will be the wave of freshness in this alliance,” says Dimitrov. Katrougalos praised the Prespa Agreement achieved between the two countries which opened the door to NATO for Macedonia. “This Agreement defeated the nationalism present in both countries,” Katrougalos said.
