At its 130th session, the Government made several decisions. It put the Foreign Ministry under the obligation to get in touch with its French counterpart institution for coordination regarding the international community’s help for restoration of the Notre-Dame cathedral in Paris, in order for most proper support from Macedonia to be determined as a sign of solidarity to renew the cathedral. In addition, the Government made a decision to declare 5 May Macedonian Language Day as a holiday of working character. As it was explained, the decision honours the 5 May 1945 decision of the People’s Government of Federal Macedonia to adopt the alphabet of the Macedonian language as the official script, while two months later, the first orthography was legalised, with which the language was codified. Furthermore, it adopted recommendations regarding the declared measles epidemic.
