On Thursday, Goran Momiroski, who heads the Election HQ of the candidate supported by the coalition led by VMRO-DPMNE, Gordana Siljanovska Davkova, met with a group from the Public Prosecutor’s Office (PPO) in charge of monitoring the election process. He urged both the PPO and the Interior Ministry to investigate the case concerning the Izbori 2019 (Elections 2019) smartphone app, which, according to Siljanovska Davkova’s HQ, was collecting personal data of citizens who downloaded it. According to the HQ, it will soon have a meeting also with international community representatives to inform them about “this major violation of the election process, but also severe crime”. PM and SDSM leader Zoran Zaev rejected the accusations. According to him, SDSM’s campaign is based on the model from sister parties in Sweden.
