Pendarovski: Majority of Citizens want to move forward

The electoral headquarter of SDSM held a press conference on Sunday evening after the conclusion of the 1^st round of the 2019 presidential election, in which their candidate Stevo Pendarovski addressed the attendees. “My dear fellow-citizens, today the majority of you showed that you want to move forward, to move this country forward towards progress and prosperity. I want to address all of you, those who voted for me and those who voted for the other candidates, but felt deep inside them they were wrong. We all need to make decisions and contribute to the progress of North Macedonia and its integration in NATO and EU,” Pendarovski said. The leader of SDSM Zoran Zaev also addressed the attendees, saying that according to their data, Pendraovski leads ahead of VMRO-DPMNE’s presidential candidate Gordana Siljanovska Davkova with a margin of around 4,300 votes. “The citizens can make a difference between our programme for progress and VMRO-DPMNE’s programme for destruction, and I am certain they will make the right choice,” Zaev said.
