Belgian Parliament adopts Law on NATO Protocol for Macedonia’s Accession

 

The Chamber of Representatives of the Belgian Parliament approved on Thursday the Law for Ratification of the Protocol for Accession of Macedonia in NATO. The information was revealed by the Belgian Minister of Foreign Affairs Didier Reynders. “I am very glad to announce that our Parliament has adopted the Law on the NATO Protocol for North Macedonia. We are now one step away from finalising the process and ratifying the Protocol,” Reynders writes on Twitter. So far, 11 out of 29 NATO member-states have ratified the protocol for Macedonia to become the 30th NATO member-state.
