On Tuesday, President Stevo Pendarovski held a meeting with Ivo Vajgl, MEP and Rapporteur on Macedonia in the EP. The European Council should acknowledge the country’s efforts and progress at an internal and foreign level and make a decision on a start of accession negotiations, they assessed. According to Pendarovski, he and exchanged views on the overall political situation, current reform process in terms of Macedonia’s road to EU integration and political situation in the EU following the European elections. The same day, Pendarovski signed the decrees for Promulgation of the Law on Coordination of Security-Intelligence Community and National Security Agency Law. These are key laws to reform security services, his Cabinet said.
