The acting US Assistant Secretary of European and Eurasian Affairs Philip Reeker started his official visit to Macedonia with a meeting with the Mayor of Bitola Natasa Petrovska. At the meeting, Reeker was joined by the US Ambassador to Macedonia Kate Marie Byrnes. “I am very glad to visit Bitola once again. It is a city with a rather important strategic and economic geographic position,” Reeker said. Mayor Petrovska thanked Reeker and Byrnes for the cooperation between the Municipality of Bitola and the US Embassy so far. Reeker is to proceed with his official visit in Skopje on Friday.
