Deputy PM Osmani meets Mogherini in Brussels

On Monday, Deputy PM for European Affairs Bujar Osmani held a meeting in Brussels with the EU’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini. “We’re literally 30 days away from the big decision on a start of negotiations,” he said, adding that it would mean completion of the joint efforts over the past 2.5 years to return both the European agenda to Macedonia and the enlargement process high to the Union’s agenda. The rule of law is a continued benchmark as far as the integration process is concerned, Osmani and Mogherini assessed. “I assure you that in this short period that lies ahead for us, too, we will hermetically close all potential opportunities for an excuse or scepticism among Member States and thus deservedly secure the decision to start negotiations,” the Deputy PM stressed. The EEAS issued a press-release about the meeting.
