On Wednesday, the detention order for former Special Prosecutor Katica Janeva, who’s a suspect in the Racketeering case, was extended by the Criminal Court, upon a proposal from the Prosecutor’s Office for Organised Crime and Corruption, by another 30 days. Regarding the proposal filed by Janeva’s defence for annulment of the detention measure and introduction of a milder one to secure her presence with an offered guarantee submitted to a judge in previous procedure, the Court said it was sent for opinion to a relevant public prosecutor.
