Zaev: Negative decision to Practically mean no Respect for Prespa deal

PM Zoran Zaev says for Tanjug that if the EU doesn’t make a decision to start membership negotiations, that will practically mean that it doesn’t respect the Prespa Agreement and that it even punishes it. He points out for the Serbian agency: “Everyone says that the Prespa Agreemnt has so far been one of the best examples in the Western Balkans. If the EU punishes this deal with a delay of the accession negotiations with North Macedonia, how can it then be expected that a resolution will be found to the Kosovo issue or how will the Bosnian leaders to find a solution in Bosnia and Herzegovina?” However, the PM hopes that EU leaders will green-light a start of negotiations.
