PM Zaev reiterates Stand on negotiations Date

The EU should now take the decisive step and make a decision on a start of membership negotiations for Macedonia, which will send a strong message to other countries in the region, too, that making difficult and responsible decisions, as well as the deep reform processes, are a stake for a better future, PM Zoran Zaev and Frans Timmermans, First Vice-President of the European Commission assessed at their meeting on Thursday in Brussels, in which Deputy PM for European Affairs Bujar Osmani, too, participated. Zaev expressed gratitude for the EU institutions’ and Member States’ support for the Euro-integration processes and the internal reform. In his view, a positive decision is a logical response to acknowledge what the country has delivered so far and strong encouragement for continuity of reforms in direction of achievement of European standards.
