According to PM Zoran Zaev, the Government hasn’t received any invitation for membership in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). As he said on Wednesday, the Government isn’t even thinking about that. “No, there isn’t such an invitation and I hope it will not arrive either,” the PM stated. Regarding the Prespa deal, he said Macedonia would implement it all the way, adding that Skopje expected Athens to do the same. He described the document as the most serious guarantee for a start of membership negotiations with the EU, despite the “disappointment”. Commenting on the Parliament Speaker statement about dissolution on 11 February, Zaev said he was convinced the NATO Protocol would be finished on time at Macedonia’s legislative home, too.
