Mickoski Meets Benjamin, McCarthy and Bazdnikin

VMRO-DPMNE President, Hristijan Mickoski met with Robert Benjamin, National Democratic Institute’s (NDI) Director for Central and Eastern Europe, Paul McCarthy, IRI Regional Director for Europe and Russian Ambassador, Sergej Bazdnikin on Friday. Topics of discussion were the current political happenings in the county, the upcoming early Parliamentary elections and the Macedonia Euro-Atlantic perspective. VMRO-DPMNE’s Leader pointed out that the integration of the Republic of Macedonia into NATO and the European Union are key strategic commitments of the party, as well as of the country. He also stated that after taking control of the government, VMRO-DPMNE will work on necessary reforms in the area of judiciary, education, healthcare and the economy with the goal to bring the country closer to the European standards. Mickoski also stated that the judiciary reforms are of special importance and that the crime and corruption which are cancer to the Macedonian society, and synonymous with the current SDSM led government, have to be stopped.
