Dendias visits Skopje, meets Dimitrov, Zaev and Pendarovski

The Greek FM, Nikos Dendias arrived in Skopje with support for the Macedonian Euro-integrations and the understanding that the relations between the countries are dramatically improved thanks to the Prespa Agreement. However, Dendias has some remarks in the dynamics of the Agreement’s implementation, and no comment on why the names on the road signs in Northern Greece are not changed. “In North Macedonia as well, there are serious setbacks. We talked honestly, as always with Mr Dimitrov. There is an Ambassador who is responsible for the Agreement’s implementation, in that way we are moving forward. We have long-term strategic goal, entry of Western Balkans into EU. We can’t do any favours, as we have gone through the test, so should the rest. North Macedonia has the support of someone who has already walked this road. We offer North Macedonia every cooperation. Greece is here to help anyway we can,” stated Dendias. He and Dimitrov expect for the Prespa Agreement to be respected and to continue to be implemented after the April elections. Minister Dendias also met with PM, Zoran Zaev and President, Stevo Pendarovski in separate meetings.
