FM Dimitrov attends OSCE meeting in Bratislava

The Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikola Dimitrov attends in Bratislava the 26th Ministerial Meeting of OSCE, which takes place on Thursday and Friday. In his address at the first day of the meeting, Dimitrov pointed out that Macedonia is fully dedicated to the implementation of all pledges and recommendations of OSCE and thanked for the support OSCE provides for the development of Macedonia. “There cannot be any progress if we do not respect our mutual values: respect of human rights, basic democratic norms, economic freedoms and responsibility for all processes,” Dimitrov said. At the sidelines of the OSCE Meeting, Dimitrov held several bilateral meetings, most notably with the new High Representative of EU for Foreign and Security Policy Josep Borell, US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Philip Reeker, as well as foreign ministers of several European countries. At these meetings, Dimitrov and the other interlocutors exchanged opinions about the processes for integration of Macedonia in NATO and EU, as well as about the international cooperation between their respective countries.
