Dimitrov meets EP Officials in Brussels

The Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikola Dimitrov proceeded with his official visit of Brussels on Tuesday, and held meetings with several officials from the European Parliament. In Brussels, Dimitrov met the President of the Renew Europe Group Dacian Ciolos, the Co-president of the Mixed Parliamentary Committee EU-MK Andreas Schieder, the Rapporteur for North Macedonia in EP Ilhan Kyuchyuk, as well as representatives from the Group of MEPs Friends of North Macedonia. At the meetings, Dimitrov thanked the EP officials for the support they provide for the European integration of Macedonia. He also informed his hosts about the reform processes in Macedonia and the results achieved so far. “Both people and states need friends, who help us overcome the obstacles on our way towards our goals. We are decisive to be victorious and achieve our goals, and we remain dedicated to our European agenda,” Dimitrov said. In Brussels, Dimitrov als had a meeting with the Head of the Office of the new EP President Ursula von der Leyen, Bjorn Siebert, and both of them expressed hope for further strengthening of the European positions of Macedonia.
