Process against Janakieski, Veljanovski, and Others to Start next Month

The court process against former ministers Mile Janakieski and Spiro Ristovski, ex-Parliament Speaker Trajko Veljanoski, and Vladimir Atanasovski over the 27 April 2017 attacks in Parliament will start next month. The Criminal Court has confirmed for Kanal 5 TV that the case is already in the hands of a judge. Vilma Ruskovska, who heads the Prosecutor’s Office for Organised Crime, is sure about the evidence against the alleged organisers of the attacks. According to her, the list of witnesses includes part of the participants against whom verdicts have already been reached over the acts of violence. The charge doesn’t cover ex-PM Nikola Gruevski. An investigation was initially underway against him, but it was stopped due to unavailability to prosecution organs.
