On Wednesday, the trial over the TNT case was postponed for 20 January after the defence’s request for postponement had been accepted due to the medical condition of defendant Toni Trajkovski, former Mayor of the Municipality of Gazi Baba. Lawyer Jovica Strasevski said that his client was receiving therapy, adding that he was unable to participate in hearings. Prosecutor Burim Rustemi consequently asked for the procedure for Trajkovski to be separated, which the defence opposed. Judge Ognen Stavrev is in charge of the process. Former PM Nikola Gruevski and ex-Minister of Transport and Communications Mile Janakieski, too, are among the defendants in the case.
