263 Violations of Curfew in Past 24 Hours

According to data published by the Interior Ministry, there have been 263 cases of violation of the curfew between 04:00 p.m. on Saturday and 05:00 a.m. on Sunday. “In these cases, police officers had to intervene and arrest 102 persons, while 46 were issued warnings only. In the past 24 hours, isolation resolutions were issued for 180 people, while 98 other signed statements for self-isolation. Police officers also determined that in the past 24 hours three persons violated the agreements for self-isolation, while three business objects were active during the curfew,” writes the announcement from MoI. According to Technical Interior Minister Nakje Culev, since the introduction of the curfew on 22 March, more than 500 citizens violated this measure, of which 459 are aged between 18 and 67, 26 were under the age of 18, and 18 were over the age of 67. “Since the introduction of the curfew, 199 citizens have been arrested, of which 14 minors. 136 citizens were issued warnings, while criminal charges were filed against 123 citizens. So far, citizens have signed 9,025 statements for agreement on self-isolation, and so far in these cases 123 violated the agreements, after which criminal charges were filed against them,” Culev informed.
