Government Introduces 85-hour Curfew between 17 and 21 April

At a session held on Monday, the Government of Macedonia adopted a regulation for an 85-hour curfew for the following weekend. According to the regulation, the curfew on working days will start at 04:00 p.m. and will end at 05:00 a.m. the next day, while for the upcoming weekend and the Easter holiday, the curfew will start at 04:00 p.m. on Friday 17 April and will end on Tuesday 21 April at 05:00 a.m. People over the age of 67 are allowed to move in public on working days only between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. while citizens under the age of 18 between 01:00 p.m. and 03:00 p.m. As addition to these rules, the government also introduces limitations of movement in forests, parks and other picnic sites during the curfew between 17 and 21 April. Outside of the curfew, citizens must not gather in groups with more than 2, only exception being parents with children under the age of 10. Employees in the sectors of healthcare, police, army and food delivery businesses will be able to move freely from home to work and vice-versa during the curfew. At the same session, the government adopted a regulation that prolongs the compulsory state quarantine for repatriated citizens from 14 to 21 days.
