66 New Cases of COVID-19 in past 24 Hours, 1 Death, 10 Patients Cured

The Health Ministry informed on Thursday that in the past 24 hours 66 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed, with which the total number of cases in Macedonia increased to 974. Majority of the new cases (27) are registered in Kumanovo, while the Health ministry also registers 10 patients who have recovered from COVID-19 in self-isolation at their homes, after their two control tests turned out negative. By city, so far there are 339 cases in Skopje, 262 in Kumanovo, 89 in Prilep, 49 in Debar, 47 in Struga, 36 in Veles, 31 in Stip, 25 in Kocani, 10 in Gostivar, 9 in Bitola and Ohrid, 4 in Gevgelija, Kriva Palanka and Radovis, 3 in Kavadarci and Krusevo, 2 in Strumica, Negotino and Probistip and 1 in Kicevo. The Health Ministry also informed that the test for COVID-19 done to a 76-year old woman post mortem came out positive, with which the number of deceased patients with COVID-19 increased to 45, while the number of cured patients at the moment is 98. 500 tests were conducted in the past 24 hours, of which 310 by the Public Healthcare Institute, while the others were done by the laboratory at the Faculty for Veterinary, as well as private healthcare institutions like “Avicena”, “Filip Vtori” and “Biotek”.
