According to caretaker PM Oliver Spasovski, the Government has received answers from the Infectious Diseases Committee, the State Election Commission (SEC), and the OSCE/ODIHR. They, he explained on Wednesday, expect an election date and to start preparations on the basis of that. As Spasovski added, the Committee has issued a protocol, while the SEC has informed of deadlines needed to carry out electoral activities. As far as the OSCE/ODIHR is concerned, Spasovski said it had informed that it was expecting a date, adding that it also expected to start, on the basis of the date, all preparations to deploy the election observation mission. Commenting on the regulation that put electoral activities on hold, the caretaker PM stated it was legitimate and constitutional.
