“Over the past 24 hours, 19 new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed,” the Public Health Institute said on Tuesday. There were 512 coronavirus tests. It was added that the same period had seen 16 cured patients, while four new deaths had been registered, that is, two patients from Skopje and one each from Prilep and Tetovo. Currently, the number of active cases is 381. Among the new patients is a member of the immediate family of one of the advisers of Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Policy Gonul Bayraktar. Since Tuesday, around 10 Army members who were sent to help police have been in self-isolation and will be tested because of the seven members of the Interior Ministry’s Rapid Deployment Unit that have the virus.
