EU Ambassador Samuel Zbogar cannot comment what the negotiating framework will contain because it still hasn’t been finalised. He says it’s the same framework with a structure similar to the one for other countries in the region. As far as the issue of Bulgaria is concerned, Zbogar points out that good-neighbourly relations are an important part of the negotiating process. The EU ambassador stresses in that regard that the need to continue to implement deals reached with neighbours and constant development of good-neighbourly relations will surely be addressed in the framework. Zbogar highlights that Enlargement Commissioner Oliver Varhelyi has said the framework will be presented in June. He believes that still stands.
